The kids have been looking at pictures of Sophie a bunch of times a day and saying, "I miss Sophie."
We have traveled every day so far. We are in Albuquerqu tonight after a 13 hour drive today. Yesterday we went to St. Louis and took the tram to the top of the arch! Way cool!
July 4 (tomorrow) we are driving to the Grand Canyon! Hopefully the weather will be OK. We ran into some serious rain from tropical storm Alex! We are having a great trip so far! The kids have been awesome! Oklahoma had lots of corn. Texas had lots of pasture land, and New Mexico has had lots of expansive vistas!
Tell me if Sophie continues not to pee.

Day 1: Albion to Linchtfield, Illinois
Pleasant morning. We left at 7:00 a.m. and immediately stopped at McDonald's in Conneaut! MMMM. We've stopped frequently at rest areas, sometimes throwing around a ball, sometimes getting a free Dyno jump and high-tech simulated race car drive! Carter outdrove his dad by a long shot! We did our part helping BP clean up the Gulf by paying extra! We did get three new hats, two little flashlights, and four hotdogs with chips and drinks for $4 and overpiced gas!
